Bromwich Canyon Lodge

Bromwich Canyon Lodge, LLC is open year round and is the perfect getaway destination for couples and families. Settle into the warmth and charm of this beautiful secluded country lodge and take pleasure in the unadorned simplicity of quiet country living. Our accommodations include 2 bedrooms on the main floor with queen size beds and 2 bedrooms on the upper level with full size beds, sleeper sofa and full size futon are available for extra guests. All bed linens are provided. Our Lodge has a fully equipped kitchen, central heating and Air, satellite television, gas grill and picnic tables.

Reconnect with nature and enjoy 400 acres of peace and serenity at this charming lodge. Enjoy the beautiful views of valleys and ridgetops, at night the stars sparkle against the black velvet sky, no city lights or house lights dim the spectacle. Watch the many different species of birds and wildlife while enjoying a cup of coffee on the patio.

Located 15 minutes from the beautiful Calamus Lake.

Bromwich Canyon Lodge is located 10 Miles west of Burwell, Nebraska on Hwy 91 to Mile Marker 50 turn south at the Kent Road sign and travel approximately 1 mile then east 1/2 mile. >From Taylor 4 miles east to Mile Marker 50 and follow the same directions.

Calamus Outfitters

Calamus Outfitters features two lodges, each with five private rooms with full baths plus great room and full kitchen. Lodges may be rented by the room or the whole lodge (great for family reunions). Four individual cabins each feature four beds plus bath and kitchenette. On site is the Valley View General Store. Summer activities include tank, tube and canoe trips on the Calamus river as well as daily trail rides and horseback lessons. Fall and winter activities include upland game, waterfowl and deer hunting. Early spring bird watching includes Grouse and Prairie Chicken dance, Burrowing Owls, Bald Eagles and much more. Crest Motel

Crest Motel is convienently located 12 miles from the Calamus Lake and 19 miles from the Comstock Windmill Festival at 82290 on highway 183 one mile south of Taylor. Each of our comfortable rooms have been recently renovated and contain a double and a single bed, bathroom with a shower, and dish network TV. There is plenty of parking space for trailers and boats. Wagner Bunkhouse

We have a nice rural setting where you can relax and enjoy the outdoors. You will be ¼ mile from the beautiful North Loup River where you can enjoy a nice evening stroll or enjoy fishing at the Wagner's Lake, for a chance at a master angler - catch and release only. Enjoy watching some fowl and animals. Some of the amenities include: full kitchen, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, VCR-DVD player, three bedrooms plus hide-a-bed, two bathrooms, fish cleaning station, grill, some dishes, pots and pans and silverware.

Directions:

Take Highway 91 west out of Burwell toward Taylor, turn at mile marker 50 (Kent Road), north over the North Loup River then at next intersection turn right and go 2.5 miles, turn right immediately after the sharp left to enter the lane for the Wagner's Bunkhouse.
